Sales events go live every Monday at this new shopping experience for … anyone with a passion for children’s fashion!
Avalina – A Children’s Boutique is a flash sale site that features clothing, shoes and accessories for girls and boys in sizes newborn to 8/9. The newly launched family business was founded by two sisters shortly after a sassy little trendsetter (aka co-founder Inna Shamis Lapin’s adorable daughter) was born into the family.
Always A Reason to Shop
New sale events go live every Monday, so there’s always a reason to shop –at prices up to 60% off. Shoppers sign in and become members, and right now, shoppers can enjoy free shipping on all orders over a certain dollar amount as well as 10% off all first purchases. Sounds like a deal!
“Our favorite thing to do is offer customers the latest trends and styles that they likely won’t find in a typical children’s clothing store,” Inna tells me. “We want others to share in our guilty pleasure of flash sale shopping.”
Inna and her sister work in the beauty and lifestyle industries, and both of them are obsessed by the latest trends and enamored with all the new ways fashionistas like them can shop these days. “When we looked around for that same experience shopping for kids, we were often frustrated by the lack of selection in both traditional clothing stores and the online shopping experiences. So, we set out to create a boutique that would allow us to do for children what we’ve been doing for ourselves,” they say.
Avalina has been “open” for a little more than a month and already the sisters are seeing success! “The joy has been in getting so much support from our customers,” Inna says. “To think there are many options for online shopping and yet our customers come back to us week after week to check out what’s new for their kids – that brings us great joy!” They also love hearing their customers’ suggestions on what brands they’d like to see on AvalinaBoutique.com as well as site improvements.
Social Connections
Followers can find AvalinaBoutique.com on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. Inna says, “The beauty of using social media nowadays is being able inform our customers quickly about our Sale Events, specials we may have running, and to give them the opportunity shop directly from some of these social media channels. Social media also allows us to share some of what we love, and that includes great parenting-related articles, recipes and more.”

For six seasons, millions tuned into reality TV’s Tori & Dean and saw the couple’s good friends who became known as The Guncles (the words gay + uncles combined) to their kids. Throughout the years, fans tuned in to be a part of Bill Horn and Scout Masterson’s commitment ceremony as well as their efforts to adopt a child of their own. In 2010, with the help of IAC, daughter Simone Lynn became part of the family, which grew again in 2014 with the addition of son Bosley Jo.
“When our friends at LÍLLÉbaby suggested we create our own custom print to be featured on their popular carriers, we knew we wanted to design a bold, geometric print that was cheerful, sophisticated, and unique,” The Guncles say. “We are proud to be able to use this project to benefit a charity near-and-dear to our hearts – the Independent Adoption Center.”
