About Feltman Brothers

Founded in 1916, Feltman’s has a long history of providing high quality, exquisitely styled, hand embroidered clothing for baby boys and girls. The Feltman Brothers collection began with a line of hand-made dresses and because of its soaring popularity, the company soon expanded to include Christening gowns, rompers, bubbles, body suits, booties, bonnets, blankets and more. Distinctive collection of finely crafted, classic styled clothing and accessories for the little loved ones in your lives. Products are available in sizes newborn to toddler. All of the Feltman outfits are created with the same workmanship as in 1916. There is simply no replacement for the kind of hand detailing used in our vintage styled baby clothing collection. We are proud to continue offering you the very best for your baby. Feltman’s provides the world with authentic and timeless fashion for babies in classic tradition. This reputation is the result of a strong commitment to quality, incomparable fabrics, exclusive designs, and attention to detail. Lollybean Kid Couture

“Lollybean” is Emily’s nickname, and Emily is the daughter and inspiration of Amy McConnell, designer of Lollybean Kid Couture. “Emily was born premature, with a severe condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia,” Amy tells HCRSourceBook. “Finding appropriate clothing for her was difficult as she was very small and had feeding tubes.”

Amy started her own clothing line when her son Matthew was born  – one simple white layette gown with the words “God’s Gift” written on the front. Now the Solvang, CA-based company makes a year-round collection available for boys and girls in sizes newborn to 24 months that combines the playful words of childhood with classic images that bring to mind the wonderful memories of that time.

Made of 100% cotton, find long and short sleeve shirts paired with yoga-style pants and shorts – gift-ready sets with mini clothespin fasteners. A boxed layette hat and gown are finished with a tied grosgrain ribbon and hang tag.

Amy has a background in interior design and mural art, and extends her love of color into her collection. Rich hues of charcoal, black, deep olive and chocolate join traditional pinks and blues.

Lollybean Kid Couture is represented by Sylvia Gill in the Northwest (888) 304-8271; Barbara Towery in the Southwest (800) 783-9327; Kathy Fedoryshyn in the Midwest (262) 781-8685 and Rudy Fleischmann in the Mid-Atlantic (800) 869-2229.

“Our goal is to create comfort for the child while at the same time bring fun and laughter to the grownups who know and love them.”

Made in Los Angeles

Americans sure are proud to see the Made in the USA label on anything crafted right here at home.

PaigeLaurenBaby_001On the left coast – as I so affectionately refer to it – designer Paige Lauren takes this one step further by creating, designing and manufacturing her line, PAIGELAUREN baby, solely in one city – Los Angeles, CA – to  “represent the Los Angeles native lifestyle.”

PAIGELAUREN baby’s Spring/Summer 2009 layette collection includes caps, blankets, kimono gowns, rompers, crawlers, sleeveless body suits, collared body suits, t-shirts, shorts, pants and bloomers, all in a breezy beach palette. The new colors, relaxed in super fine jersey, are truly “Angelino,”  inspired by the California lifestyle of casual luxury. “These clothes are summer,” Paige says, “the palm trees, endless coastline, sailing at sunset, playing at the beach club with your family and that amazing feeling that a summer evening could last a lifetime.”

Paige tells writer Eitan Kadosh that her collection of rich, classic and elegant clothes is born out of frustration. “I would walk into baby boutiques and everything in the stores was over-designed,” she says. “I knew plenty of moms who wanted the best for their babies and who appreciated clothes that would never go out of style.”

A  Southern California girl educated at New York’s Parsons School of Design, Paige says, “I think that clothing should be timeless and beautifully constructed. If something isn’t well-made than it isn’t worth getting at all.” And she works tirelessly so her line can reflect these sensibilities.  “If I have an idea for something, I just throw every resource I have into it, even if that means doing everything myself to get the results I want.”

The company describes the brand as the luxury of simplicity: useful, usable, beautiful, sustainable – committed  to purity of form over gimmicks.

Just like playing on the beach in the summer sun.
