Land of Looms

061913_LandOfLooms_OnePieceSafe for baby and safe for the planet.

Rinat Hegde has launched a modern, beautiful and chemical-free line of rompers, onezies and blankets for children called Land of looms.

“Land of looms was born with the intention of providing baby clothes that are made from 100% certified organic cotton,” Rinat tells me. “They are very soft and gentle on baby’s sensitive skin, clean and simple in design, and fashionably timeless.”

Organic cotton is pure, natural and more breathable, with none of the harmful chemical residue found in regular cotton clothing. The softer, thicker cloth also lasts longer because its less processed.

It’s every parents dream to welcome their precious little ones into a world that is free from all toxins and to nurture them with all things pure, just as nature intended.

061913_LandOfLooms_RomperLand of loom clothes are GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)-certified, designed and manufactured according to strict ecological and social standards. The natural color and sweet graphics that personalize each Land of looms design use non-toxic dyes and are made in fair trade factories. They’re also machine washable.

061913_LandOfLooms_Blanket“As parents we try to make informed choices, but sometimes we get caught up with the overwhelming choices that are presented to us,” Rinat says. “When you shop at Land of looms, you are assured that all products are safe for baby and safe for planet.”

Adorables for Earth Day – Burt’s Bees Baby

041613_BurtsBeesBaby_earthdayAll the natural goodness that Burt’s Bees is loved for, made especially for little ones.

Last year, Burt’s Bees® -a name that stands for natural skin care- introduced Burt’s Bees Baby, an earth-friendly lifestyle brand for babies and their moms.

Launched as a “natural” evolution of the Burt’s Bees brand, Burt’s Bees Baby has introduced an entirely new genre into the natural and organic markets, catering to the family that shops locally, buys organic and visits famers’ markets.

And you can buy it at Target.

We are building on that tradition by offering families a high quality, organic line of products that starts with babies and expands to the entire family.

041613_BurtsBeesBaby_lifestyleThrough a licensing venture with brand building and product design firm Ayablu, Inc., the line includes newborn essentials such as apparel, accessories, bath linens and gift sets, as well as skincare. And the relatively new brand seems to exude both the character and spirit of the Burt’s Bees brand, described as “whimsical, carefree and intent upon doing things in a ‘better way’ -in a way that is accessible to all.

“The Burt’s Bees Baby brand was thoughtfully crafted in the glow of the Burt’s Bees brand mission,” says Michelle Visser, Ayablu’s CEO. “We wanted to bring you a product line that would nurture children – soft, natural pieces and 100% organic. Building on a culture of caring and well being, our mission is to create a collection that frees families to relax, enjoy and revel in every moment with their little ones.”

041613_BurtsBeesBaby_giftbasketAn expert in the children’s market, Michelle has launched children’s brands for Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co and Lucky Kids, and help senior executive jobs with Pottery Barn Kids, Nike for Kids and others.

Burt’s Bees Baby is a high-quality, organic collection trusted almost immediately by the shopping public. In addition to e-commerce, www.burtsbeesbaby.com serves as an educational platform with original editorial content and as a forum for moms and moms-to-be. The brand is poised for growth, with plans to add apparel and accessories sizes for toddlers and children, new categories including diaper bags and gear, health and safety, playtime, seasonal offerings, furniture and other products the family.

Heaven Sent Infant Wear

Four-year-old children’s wear designer finds success with babies, books and The Bible!

California-based Heaven Sent Infant Wear designs children’s clothes that offer what they call “a spiritual reflection.”

The owners – one is a grandmother to 12 and the other is mom to her daughter- share the belief that a child is a gift from God. “We began designing infant apparel that we believed could share that belief and warm the hearts of mothers everywhere.”

With that, Heaven Sent offers 100% cotton and organic cotton bibs, rompers, gowns, onezies, jumpers and more, all adorned with unique quotations from the Bible, such as Fearfully And Wonderfully Made (Psalms 139:14), favorite childhood prayers, the signature message Heaven Sent and others.

Bookstore Love. Heaven Sent began by selling their designs at local baby expos and mother-baby shows, and then a local bookstore fell in love with the brand, carrying it in the store. “Last year, we did the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in Atlanta, Georgia, where we were picked up by eight new bookstores,” they tell me. “Earlier this year, we were picked up by Berean Christian Stores, and now, Heaven Sent is sold in 26 stores total.” And counting, for sure.

A Wink and a Prayer. I think the makers of Heaven Sent say it best:

Our product not only shares a message but is bright, fun, excellent quality and very cute.

I’m all for cute and I’m all for a little reflection, too.
