Slick Sugar’s Belly Banter

Sassy Slick Sugar creates Belly Banter for moms-to-be to tell the world what’s going on with their pregnancy in a fashionable way.

Belly Banter is a line of two unique sets of stickers – one for pregnancy and one for newborns – that celebrates the wonder of the first nine months followed by the next twelve months of giggles and wiggles parenthood brings. Belly Banter sets feature a total of 15 peel-and-stick stickers with fun expressions like “I love pickles” or “here-I-am” and look great on any clothing.

Snap a photo wearing one of these stickers and post to a Facebook profile or create a keepsake for a pregnancy journal. After the birth, dress baby each month with a fresh sticker and watch how he changes in just 365 days.

My husband and I are originally from Iowa, and all of our family is still there. During my pregnancies and after we had children, we were getting weekly requests for pictures, pictures and more pictures. Belly Banter was the perfect solution … and our customers have been so creative with the product.

-Jennifer Mills, proprietor

The concept for Belly Banter’s product line came out of a real-life need for pregnancy updates from long distance relatives of Scott and Jennifer Mills, proprietors of online children’s clothing retailer Slick Sugar.

What I love about Belly Banter is that it’s a simple solution to a unique pregnancy problem – how to document the important milestone of pregnancy without spending a ton of money. Here are fifteen stickers to announce a new milestone or capture a funny thought in pregnancy.

Slick Sugar offers products that inspire and define budding individuality, putting a spotlight on designs fashioned with music and vintage themes. The company  recently teamed with Little Kids Rock, a national nonprofit that transforms children’s lives by restoring and revitalizing music education in disadvantaged public schools. A portion of the proceeds from their Keep the Music Alive tee shirt benefits kids everywhere.
